Walmart Strips Employees of Their Little Blue Jackets

Wal*Mart decided that having great grandfathers in blue vests wasn’t making them faster or friendlier, so they are making a change.  The change?  Of course it would be a bad idea to get someone under 60 years old to work at Wal*Mart, or someone whose first language is English, so Wal*Mart is changing their uniforms.  Polos and khakis will be the new look.

I’m a strong believer that you should dress for the job you want and not the job you have.  Based on that thinking, sounds like Wal*Mart employees will be dressing for kiosk jobs at the mall (cell phones and Crocs don’t sell themselves… well, maybe they do).

As for my work attire: KMart Toughskins, a Spongebob t-shirt, Ugh boots, all covering my Superman Underoos.
