Time to replace lightbulbs with jars
A ban on light bulbs on incandescent light bulbs on the horizon, their mercury filled fluorescent replacements are a concern for landfills. Fortunately there is an even more eco friendly alternative, sunlight jars.
Scientists have devised a method to save solar power in a bottle (no word on being able to save Time In A Bottle yet). Using highly efficient solar cells and storing the power in rechargeable batteries, solar energy could then be used to illuminate areas such as grandmothers’ cupboards, garages, the homeless’ shopping carts, and other places jars are usually found. Using the energy stored in the jars with some LED lights would enable small areas to be lit for several hours, allowing people to conserve energy by watching TV while using jar light.

Ted Nugent and Daryl Hannah are planning a trip to Washingon taking corn powered cars or maybe horses to get there. It is believed that Nugent and Hanna might build off-the-grid housing along the way while they attempt to rally support behind their cause for removing light bulbs from every American household.
