There are things the government should not be trying to control, such as the weather. Those natural laws and ecological truths are there for a reason. A friend of mine commented that he hoped to God that humanity will never be allowed the capability to distort creation to such a lamentable degree. As for Sci-Fi, it is a sad commentary on how some people could act in crisis situations. By the way, doesn't Randall Flagg in The Stand look an awful lot like the Gustav Dore lithograph of Lucifer for Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy. Spooky. LOL. I hope everyone reading this is blessed in a great abundance this year.
