Taking rental truck off-roading

A couple of weeks ago when it was raining pretty heavily I rented a truck because my car was in the shop. I paid extra for the full coverage on top of my existing insurance which pretty much gave me insurance super powers. Armed with my ring of insurance invulnerability I couldn’t pass up running over anything that wasn’t moving…


OMG I just can’t pass this up.

Clean truck - check…
giant puddles of rainwater - check…
extra insurance on rental - check…
lack of judgement - check.

Extra cab afforded room for co-workers to capture my idiocy on film for later prosecution from rental company.

Looking for broken bottles and water hazards with my tires.

Brake quickly just in case there are any nails in there.

Having fun now.

Note to self act extra innocent and don’t make eye contact when returning rental vehicle.

After the first couple runs I was smart enough to roll up my windows.

After a good hosing off you can hardly see any damage.

Good thing I rented from one of those dumpy small places and not a major chain with real lawyers.

Next time I am just going to buy one of these and just drive like this every day.
