Researching my Nigerian Lottery winnings

Lottery MoneyI still can’t believe my luck, last week I received the fantastic news that I had won the lottery! Not just any lottery either, but as it turns out $600,000 dollars in the global online sweepstake lottery. The email apparently has something to do with Nigeria so I tracked down someone from Nigeria to try to find out out my winnings.

I have made a cash deposit for fourteen thousand six hundred dollars, and quit my job in anticipation of my winnings. It’s been a few days since I’ve heard anything from the good people at the Global Online Sweepstakes so I decided to research things out a little more (after I mailed my check of course). Although being on the other end of the world with shipping and all a few days makes sense. Mr. Ali Ibrahim from Nigeria is my point of contact, so unable to find him I did find a nice lady named Ifoma from Nigeria. Since the names both begin with the letter “i” and I have a lot of free time since I quit my job I figured I’d contact her.
Ifoma who hails from the city of Lgaos, Nigheria – which I’ve heard is a beautiful this time of year even has a webcam. So now I have a face to put to things which is of great comfort to me.

My chat with a Nigerian:

Ifoma wasn’t all that helpful, but she was nice and she did offer to take her shirt off.

I’m still not sure, but I think she might know more than she’s letting on.

You can go online and talk to Ifoma (when she’s online) at : http://cam4.com/ifoma

Here is my cashiers check I sent as instructed:

  4. Please tell me that you were not crazy enough to send these people money, this is a classic Nigerian scam, I thought everyone knew that you do not have to send cash for lottery winnings especially if you know you did not enter a lottery, any fees would have been deducted from your lottery winnings. I’m sorry that you quit your job but you will not be getting any money, I hope that you can get unemployment.
