Sneak peek at the new Lego Pirates for 2009

Lego Pirate Theme Returning2009 will mark the return of the popular Lego Pirate theme launched in 1989 and abruptly discontinued in 1997. I am huge fan of the Pirate theme and have four of the Black Seas Barracuda which is my favorite set of all time.

  3. Funny Lego doesn’t use the term “LEGO bricks” anywhere on it’s home page, or does it appear as a significant return on Google searches. Perhaps they have named the product “LEGO bricks” in Canada so you guys would quit eating them.

  19. I must have them ALL, if you have one of these sets you will be required to turn it in to me or my pirate ships will wreak havoc on you and yours.

    With these pirate lego sets I will rule the world!!

  20. The new lego pirates are horrible. The older lego pirates are a must have. Sometimes simple is better and lego has lost it’s touch.
