Sneak peek at Lego Indiana Jones sets for 2009
Lego is introducing some classic Indiana Jones sets for 2009 and here’s a sneak peek at the Flying Wing: 7683 and Shanghai Chase: 7682 sets.

A little disappointing on the flying wing - it looks more like a spaceship, and I’m pretty sure they were using up old star wars sets with it. Pretty sure if it had actual German markings on it they couldn’t sell it in lots of countries but this is what could have been.

Carbon neutral pledge:
The Shanghai Chase “set” looks a little fake for several reasons:
1. Short round’s shirt says “Jock” on it and is obviously taken from the Lost Temple set.
2. The first Shanghai gangster seems to have Doc Oc’s face.
3. Willie’s hair doesn’t look like plastic.
4. Willie has Marion’s face.
Also, the Flying Wing has the ****pit from Anakin’s Starfighter
Then again, LEGO could be giving a sort of preview and they haven’t yet made the actual sets, meaning it’s not a hoax.

The truck in the flying wing set looks too much like the one in treasure chase.
